New Technology and New Interface
The Escort MAX Ci 360 carries on the tradition of the 9500ci with a two-piece interface (seen above). The control panel remains intuitive, with six control buttons. The display is brand-new with a four-colour OLED screen that shows the direction and strength of radar, along with your current speed. If you are connected to EscortLive, it will display the current speed limit.
Twin Antenna Radar Detection
The new radar receivers in the MAX Ci 360 have two separate antennas. Escort has tuned the first antenna for X-band signals and the second for K and Ka band radar. The combination of dual antennas and Escort’s all-digital Ultra-DSP signal processing system dramatically accelerates the detection process. The new radar receivers remain undetectable by radar detector detectors.
Escort has included their IVT Filter system in the MAX Ci 360. The IVT (In-Vehicle Technology) Filter rejects false alarms caused by K-band collision avoidance and lane departure systems.
Finally, the MAX Ci 360 uses variable speed sensitivity to maintain constant performance for warnings. The sensitivity is at its highest when you are traveling faster, and lower when driving around town. This technology reduces false alarms.
Modern Laser Defense System
The MAX Ci 360 includes four ShifterMax laser shifters. The new shifters included with the system can be mounted vertically or horizontally to increase our options during installation. Escort reports that the laser shifter systems will work with the latest DragonEye Speed Lidar systems. Our team of installers can integrate the new laser shifters into the front and rear of your vehicle seamlessly.
GPS and EscortLive Integration
The MAX Ci 360 includes a GPS receiver that works with an internal database to manage alerts and warnings as you drive. Escort offers three years of free updates for the Escort Defender database. With the device up to date, you will receive advanced warning as you approach a known red light camera or speed trap location. You also have the option of adding your own locations.
The MAX Ci 360 is compatible with both the iOS and Android versions of the Escort Live application. When your Escort system detects a speed measurement location, it will share that with other EscortLive users. Your smartphone is tethered to the MAX Ci 360 through an included Bluetooth connection. EscortLive will provide a warning through the MAX Ci 360 as you approach a known measurement location.
Mid City Engineering and iDatalink Maestro Vehicle Integration
If you are looking for a unique integration solution for your Escort radar detector, the latest iDatalink Maestro interfaces allow you to control and monitor the radar and laser defense features right on the screen of a compatible Kenwood multimedia receiver. Warnings will appear on the screen along with pertinent information.
Another Escort system integration feature for Mercedes-Benz, Audi and Porsche owners is the new Mid City Engineering Max-Int module. This interface allows messages from the Escort system to display on the factory-installed screen in your dash, and you can use the radio buttons on your steering wheel to configure and control the system. The Max-Int module completely replaces the Escort control panel and display for a seamless and tidy installation. Mid City offers solutions for several other vehicle manufacturers, so check with our sales team about your specific application.
