The owner of this awesome black Lamborghini Huracán Performante contacted the team at Ralph’s Radio to inquire about adding a dash camera to the vehicle. He wanted a way to monitor the people and vehicles around the car while driving, and to keep an eye on things once it was parked. One of our product specialists showed the client the BlackVue DR900S-2CH system and explained how its Wi-Fi cloud services could keep him connected to the vehicle at all times.
Lamborghini Huracán Dashcam Installation
Our technicians mounted the main camera of the DR900S-2CH in front of the rearview mirror bracket on the windshield. They ran the power cable behind the roof trim and down the A-pillar to a power management module. The power management module monitors the voltage of the vehicle’s electrical system and can automatically shut off the camera if the battery level gets too low. This configuration allows the camera to continue recording, even when the ignition is off, and prevents a dead battery.
The main camera in the DR900S-2CH records at 4K UHD resolution to capture everything that happens in front of the vehicle with amazing detail. The rear camera that we mounted in the back window records behind the vehicle at Full-HD 1920x1080p resolution. The camera system has a built-in microphone and a 3-axis motion sensor that can be used to trigger event recordings if there is a sudden jolt.
Cloud-Based Video Access
This dashcam includes Wi-Fi connectivity that allows the owner to use his smartphone to download videos. This connection method eliminates the need for a computer to view the video footage saved to the micro-SD memory card. The camera can also connect to a Wi-Fi hotspot to upload videos directly to BlackVue’s Over the Cloud service. When connected to a hotspot, the client can view the dashcam remotely, and his smartphone will provide an alert if the on-board motion sensor detects that someone has touched the vehicle.

Once we confirmed that both cameras were aligned perfectly, we called the owner of this awesome Lamborghini and let him know he could pick up the vehicle. A member of our team showed the client how to connect his smartphone to the camera and explained how the cloud services work. He was thrilled with the dashcam system and our installation.
