Mosconi Gladen PRO 5|30
The PRO 5|30 is a five-channel amplifier designed to power an entire mobile audio system. The four main channels can produce up to 70 watts per channel and use a wide-bandwidth class-AB design for exceptional detail and accuracy. The subwoofer channel can deliver 750 watts into a 2-ohm load to drive your favorite subwoofer effortlessly.
The amp includes adjustable high-pass crossovers on channels 1 and 2 and band-pass crossovers on channels 3 and 4. The subwoofer channel has a low-pass filter with a steeper 24 dB/octave attenuation.
We can configure the PRO 5|30 to drive front and rear coaxial or component speakers with passive crossovers and a subwoofer or run it as a three-way amp on a pair of tweeters, midrange drivers and a subwoofer.
The PRO 5|30 has a footprint of roughly 12 by 8 inches and stands 2-1/8 inches tall. All the power and signal connections are made along the bottom edge of the amp and the controls are on top for easy access.
Mosconi Gladen PRO 4|10
The PRO 4|10 is a four-channel amplifier rated to produce 120 watts per channel into a 4-ohm load. The front and rear channel pairs can be bridged to drive a single 4-ohm load and deliver more than 330 watts of power. The front channels include adjustable high-pass filters and the rear channels bandpass filters.
The PRO 4|30 is a compact 9-1/4 by 8 inches and has the same 2-1/8 height as its five-channel big brother.
Common Features of the Mosconi Gladen Pro Series Amplifiers
The PRO amplifiers are an ideal solution for use with an external DSP and include a processing defeat feature called Direct DSP (DDSP). When engaged, only the differential input circuitry remains in the input signal path for dramatically improved sonic transparency and reduced background noise.
Both amplifiers are compatible with the optional Mosconi RTC remote level control. The level control works with the subwoofer channel of the PRO 5|30 and channels 3 and 4 of the PRO 4|10.
Both amplifiers are compatible with stop-start vehicles and will remain functional with battery supply voltages as low as 8 volts. The preamp inputs are rated to accept anything from 350mV to 12V to offer compatibility with aftermarket and factory-installed source units. The maximum input signal in DDSP mode is 5.3V.
