Until Alpine launched Restyle, aftermarket multimedia receivers were limited to 7-inch screens. Alpine shattered that barrier with the massive 9-inch WVGA touchscreen found on the X009-GM. To give them the room they needed to include a screen this large, Alpine built the controls for infotainment system into a new key panel and backlit them the same colour as the instrument cluster for a truly OEM look.
The X009-GM includes an iDatalink Maestro interface to provide extensive vehicle integration functions. If you have OnStar, Bose audio, voice activation, Bluetooth wireless, rear seat entertainment, a rear vision camera, SiriusXM, parking sensors or factory steering wheel controls, they will work with the new source unit. You can also see tire pressure information and electrical system voltage.
Amazing Infotainment Features
The Alpine X009-GM features a fully integrated GPS navigation system to route you to a destination anywhere in Canada or the US quickly and easily. The system provides 3D mapping and roads with 3D landmarks in major urban areas to make the system intuitive to use. Turn-by-turn prompts with street names, highways exits and highway numbers let you keep your eyes on the road and hands on the wheel. Finally, a lifetime subscription to TMS traffic will route you around congestion.
A premium AM/FM receiver with built-in HD Radio lets you tune in to your local favorites. If you don’t have SiriusXM in your truck, we can add a receiver so you can enjoy your favorite genre of music almost anywhere. Support for MP3, WMA and AAC digital audio file playback is available from CD-R or a USB memory stick. You can also enjoy your favorite music from your iPhone by USB.
