If you are looking for an amazing digital signal processor, drop by Ralph’s Radio in Vancouver or Victoria and check out the Audison bit Nove. This six-input, nine-output processor includes all the features and functions we need to transform your audio system into something amazing. Let’s look at the bit Nove in more detail.
Audison bit Nove Features
As mentioned, the bit Nove includes six analog inputs. We can connect pre-amp level signals from an aftermarket source unit or speaker-level signals up to 20 volts from an amplifier to the processor. The processor includes an automatic de-equalization circuit that removes factory system tuning from the input signal.
The Nove includes a stereo auxiliary input, and a pair of Optical SP/DIF inputs so we can establish a connection to devices like the amazing bit Play HD or an OEM integration processor like the bit DMI MOST interface. The digital inputs will accept 192kHz, 24-bit signals so your high-resolution music remains clear and detailed.
Signal Processing Features
The bit Nove includes nine preamp outputs. Each channel includes a 6 to 24 dB/Octave high- and low-pass filter, a 10-band fully parametric equalizer and signal delay processing that is adjustable in 0.02-millisecond steps. We can configure your audio system with a three-way front stage, two-way rear fill, and a subwoofer, then tune each channel so that your music is recreated with accuracy and realism across a virtual soundstage in front of you.
System Control Options
The bit Nove includes a wired remote control called the DRC AB. This remote allows direct access to the four different signal input options, four different system presets, subwoofer level control and master system volume control.
The Importance of System Tuning
Even if you have chosen the best speakers in the world, installing them in a vehicle presents some challenges. Unequal path lengths, near-field reflections and acoustical resonances can wreak havoc with the sound each speaker reproduces. The installation team at Ralph’s Radio has the tools and experience to optimize the performance of each speaker in your sound system. We use processors like the bit Nove to smooth frequency response anomalies and compensate for different output levels / speaker locations. When you sit in your car, your music will seem to come from an imaginary stage that spans beyond the width of your car.
