What does the Rockford Fosgate HD9813SG-TKIT do?
This ‘Front Audio Kit’ from Rockford adds high-power amplification and a pair of premium speakers to the factory radio in these bikes. The new speakers offer dramatically improved frequency response, increased clarity and a significant improvement in power handling over the factory speakers. The four-channel amplifier included in the kit can produce more than 100 watts to each of the new speakers. This extra power means that that the speakers can play much louder than the factory system could ever hope to.
What Makes this Kit so Special?
Rockford has invested a great deal of time into engineering this kit. It installs without the need to cut, drill or otherwise modify the bike in any way. The TM400X4ad amplifier in the kit includes a full installation kit with mounting brackets, high-current all copper wiring and Harley-specific plugs and connectors. The speakers bolt right into the factory mounts in the fairing.

The Amazing TMS6SG Speaker
The heart of the HD9813SG-TKIT kit is the pair of TMS6SG speakers that Rockford designed specifically for this application. These 6.5-inch speakers make use of most of the speaker and subwoofer design technologies Rockford has in their arsenal. A narrow high-roll surround called VAST provides an excellent balance of cone area and excursion capability. Unlike many solutions on the market, the speakers are completely water, dust, UV and corrosion resistant. There is no point in installing a speaker that may fail.
