If there is a guitar, backup singers or a saxophone, they should be placed accurately, and the source of the sound should be easily discernable.
Some music enthusiasts prefer to have the music wrapped around them with an equal amount coming from the back as the front. In this case, you will want the center image to be focused on you, the driver. There should still be a realistic balance of left and right instrument placement on either side of that position.
